Law Firm Brings Its Brand to The Hill’s Heritage Parade

Twenty Brown & Crouppen employees will volunteer at the Italian Heritage Parade & Festa on The Hill in St. Louis on Sunday, October 11. They’ll hand out candy and pizza cutters and staff the firm’s booth. The personal injury law firm will take part for the third consecutive year in the event, organized by The Hill 2000 Neighborhood Association.

“The Hill was built by families who looked out for each other, and that’s still how this neighborhood works,” said Andy Crouppen, Managing Partner of Brown & Crouppen. “Our firm was built on the same belief, that people do better when someone stands up for them. Walking in this parade every year is one way we show up for our neighbors.”

The firm’s account of its place in the neighborhood comes through a paid press-release service, not independent newsroom coverage. The release says USA TODAY Network editorial and news staff didn’t help create it and identifies the placement as part of a paid service. The company tells the story in its own words. The source makes that arrangement plain.

A company presence in a neighborhood celebration

The parade begins at Botanical and Macklind, winds through The Hill and ends at Berra Park. Food and music continue there until 5 p.m. The 2026 event marks the 159th year of a celebration of Italian American families and traditions that have shaped the neighborhood for generations.

Brown & Crouppen employees will staff the firm’s booth at Berra Park through the afternoon. They’ll also hand out candy and pizza cutters along the route. Founding partner Terry Crouppen and managing partner Andy Crouppen have appeared in both the parade and the booth every year the firm has participated.

The firm’s St. Louis office sits at 4900 Daggett Avenue, inside the neighborhood the festival celebrates. Brown & Crouppen moved there at the end of 2023. The company says the parade is one of the community events it supports each year across Missouri, Kansas and Illinois.

The firm behind the message

Ron Brown and Terry Crouppen founded Brown & Crouppen in St. Louis in 1979. After Ron Brown died in 2022, the firm said it continued the advocacy and client-service commitment its founders established. It has 40 attorneys and 220 legal professionals serving injured individuals and families from nine offices in Missouri, Kansas and Illinois.

Its cases include motor vehicle collisions, workplace injuries, slip and fall claims, premises liability, nursing home neglect and wrongful death. The firm also says it supports organizations focused on housing, food security, youth services and access to justice. The release doesn’t name those organizations or detail the support they receive.

The release carries a St. Louis, United States, dateline of October 3, 2026, and a separate release date of October 2, 2026. XPR Media distributed it. The page says an independent third-party content provider supplied its information, and that XPRMedia and the site made no warranties or representations about it. It lists media contact Carrie Nielsen as Chief Marketing Officer.

The parade’s route, food and music are neighborhood details. The booth and giveaways carry a firm’s name into that public gathering. The release frames participation as showing up for neighbors, while also identifying the event as one appearance in a wider program of company-supported community events.
