Food Bowl 2026 Giveaway Offers Passes to One Winner

The Los Angeles Times is offering one grand prize: two weekend general admission passes to Food Bowl 2026, parking and tote bags. The contest is open to eligible residents of three Southern California counties, and the prize has an approximate retail value of $626.

One Prize, Two Passes

The prize includes two general admission weekend tickets to the Los Angeles Times Food Bowl, general admission parking each night and two L.A. Times Food Classic canvas totes. Contest terms describe a single grand prize. They don’t list any additional winners or prizes.

Food Bowl is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 23, and Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. The two-day event features unlimited food and drinks prepared by Los Angeles restaurants and bars, including the 101 Best Restaurants Reveal Party, presented by OpenTable and Square.

According to the contest description, the event-exclusive totes were made locally in collaboration with Big Bud Press. The prize listing calls them L.A. Times Food Classic canvas totes.

Who Can Enter

Entrants must be at least 21 years old and live in Los Angeles, Orange or San Diego County. No purchase is necessary, and the contest is void where prohibited.

Entry opened Oct. 15, 2026, at 2:00:01 p.m. PT, and closes Oct. 20, 2026, at 11:59:59 p.m. PT. Eligible entrants can submit a form at latimes.com/giveaway. Each person and each email address can enter only once, under the rules.

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries, the contest terms say. The rules describe one grand prize, not a set of prizes for multiple winners. The prize’s stated approximate retail value is $626, and restrictions apply.

Sponsor and Event Details

Los Angeles Times Communications LLC sponsors the contest. Its address is 2300 E. Imperial Hwy., El Segundo, CA 90245.

The announcement says Los Angeles restaurants and bars prepare the event’s food and drinks, and names OpenTable and Square as presenters of the 101 Best Restaurants Reveal Party. It doesn’t provide information about restaurant workers, wages, restaurant ownership or the distribution of event revenue. Instead, the published prize details list the number of passes, entry conditions, dates, sponsor and approximate retail value.

The drawing offers two weekend passes, with odds tied to the number of eligible entries. Access through the contest is limited by the age and county requirements, the one-entry limits and the single grand prize. Entrants can submit without buying anything, but the rules don’t promise that any particular entrant will receive a pass.
