Gorillaz will play one night at Santiago’s Estadio Bicentenario de La Florida on Friday 4 December 2026. Fans who want in face prices from 66,700 Chilean pesos (about US$68) to 287,500 pesos (about US$292), including service charges. DG Medios published those launch prices in March. Whether seats remain hasn’t been confirmed.
The British virtual band, founded by Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett, is bringing its ninth studio album, The Mountain, to the Chilean capital as part of The Mountain Tour. Promoter DG Medios lists the show, and Ticketmaster Chile confirms the same date and venue. No second night has been announced.
The Price of Admission
The PIT tops the price list at 287,500 pesos. Pacífico Centro costs 212,750 pesos (about US$216), Platea Zafiro 184,000 pesos (about US$187), and Pacífico Sur 172,500 pesos (about US$175). Platea Royal is 161,000 pesos (about US$164), while Cancha Frontal costs 155,250 pesos (about US$158).
Lower-priced options include Pacífico Vista Parcial at 120,750 pesos (about US$123), Platea Baja at 109,250 pesos (about US$111), Platea Zafiro Vista Parcial at 97,750 pesos (about US$99), and Tribuna Central at 86,250 pesos (about US$88). Cancha General and Movilidad Reducida are the cheapest, at 66,700 pesos. The dollar conversions use the 16 October 2026 rate of 984.09 pesos to the dollar.
Those totals don’t tell the full story. DG Medios charges a service fee equal to 15 percent of the full face value, on top of the ticket price. Buyers pay it for every section, from the PIT to the cheapest seats.
A Single Seller, Strict Rules
Ticketmaster Chile is the only official online seller, and it draws a hard line on risk. The company says it isn’t responsible for tickets bought outside its system. Tickets carry the buyer’s details, and each person aged two or older needs one.
General sale opened at noon on Friday 6 March 2026. Presales for Entel customers and Santander cardholders ran from noon Wednesday 4 March to noon Friday 6 March. Each offered a 20 percent discount on ticket value, not the service charge. Buyers could purchase no more than four tickets in the presale. The same cap applied to general sale.
What Fans Still Don’t Know
Details remain thin. Ticketmaster says Damon Albarn will perform with the live band and special guests, but hasn’t named them. No support act, setlist, doors time, start time or curfew has been published. The pages reviewed didn’t provide parking information, a stadium seat map or the stage layout.
Cooperativa reported that the tour opens in the United Kingdom and Europe before reaching the Americas, after two Los Angeles shows where the band played all of The Mountain from start to finish. The album has 15 songs. Cooperativa listed Sparks, Trueno, Bizarrap, Omar Souleyman, Anoushka Shankar and Tony Allen among its guests, though no one has said whether any will appear in Santiago. It named Feel Good Inc., Clint Eastwood and On Melancholy Hill as catalogue highlights, but the band hasn’t released a Santiago setlist.
Gorillaz last toured South America at length in 2023. The seller describes this run as the band’s first extended visit to the region since then. Cooperativa noted that Guinness World Records recognises Gorillaz as the world’s most successful virtual band.
The Venue and Getting There
The Estadio Bicentenario de La Florida is football club Audax Italiano’s home ground. Emol says the stadium opened in 1986, was rebuilt in 2008 and holds 11,376 spectators for sport. Viajando Chile gives its capacity for music events as more than 28,000. That gap matters to anyone estimating crowds and logistics.
Emol identifies Rojas Magallanes and Trinidad stations on Metro Line 4 as the nearest stops. Viajando Chile recommends taking Line 4 to Rojas Magallanes, then walking about 22 minutes or catching a bus along the avenue named for the stop.
Travel Notes for U.S. Visitors
The U.S. State Department’s Chile information, read on 17 October 2026, says U.S. citizens with tourist passports don’t need a visa for stays of 90 days or less. Passports must be valid at entry and for the full stay, with at least one blank page for each stamp. Visitors receive a tourist card on arrival and must return it when leaving. They can extend it once for another 90 days for a US$100 fee.
The State Department rates Chile Level 2, exercise increased caution, citing crime, unrest and health. It says pickpocketing and muggings happen most often in tourist locations, including Plaza de Armas, Mercado Central and Cerro Santa Lucía in Santiago. Large demonstrations can disrupt buses and the Santiago Metro with little or no notice.
Why This Matters: A concert this size is a private-sector transaction at heart: a promoter, one authorised seller and tens of thousands of consumers weighing price against value. The facts show where that market places the burden on buyers. A 15 percent service charge applies to every ticket, presale discounts covered face value only, and the seller disclaims responsibility for purchases made elsewhere. Fans must handle much of the planning themselves, with no published start time, setlist or transit plan beyond Metro Line 4, and a State Department advisory warning of crime and transport disruption. At prices reaching nearly US$292, buyers have good reason to read the fine print before they pay.
