Grupo Niche Sinfónico Tickets: Bogotá Sale Opens Today

Grupo Niche’s Bogotá symphonic show went on general sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. Tickets cost COP 143,100 to COP 673,300, including service fees—roughly US$45 to US$212. The seller says prices depend on supply and demand.

Called Un Universo de Sentimientos, the concert brings the Colombian salsa band together with the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Colombia at Movistar Arena on Friday 16 April 2027. Doors open at 6 p.m., with music starting at 8. The show moves to Daviarena in Medellín on Saturday 24 April 2027.

The Price of a Seat

Tuboleta, Bogotá’s official and only authorised seller, uses staged pricing. Third-tier sections 301 and 319 start at COP 143,100 (about US$45), then rise to COP 156,300 (about US$49) after the first allocation sells out. In the first stage, second-tier seats cost COP 276,600 to COP 372,800 (about US$87 to US$117). Platea seats range from COP 420,900 (about US$132) to COP 541,100 (about US$170).

Tribuna Fan Sur tops the price list: COP 649,300 (about US$204), increasing to COP 673,300 (about US$212). The conversions use the 16 October 2026 exchange rate, about COP 3,183 per U.S. dollar.

Buyers may purchase up to six tickets per transaction. Web, call-centre and point-of-sale purchases carry an additional delivery fee, which appears before payment. Tuboleta Pass delivers the tickets through its app. A presale for Movistar customers ran from Thursday 15 October until 9:59 a.m. Saturday 17 October, one minute before general sales opened.

Read one line in the terms carefully. Stage setup may restrict views from sections 201, 219, 301 and 319, and Tuboleta says it won't accept visibility complaints for those seats. Cheap seats come with fine print.

The Product

Niche Sinfónico sets the band’s songs against orchestral arrangements. According to Publimetro, its repertoire draws on the work of Jairo Varela, the group’s founder and main composer. Infobae reported in 2025 that Varela started the group, died in 2012, and that the band continued performing. Noticias RCN said the project won a Latin Grammy in 2023, although outlets describe the award category differently. José Aguirre and Juan José Aguirre receive credit for musical direction.

Organisers haven’t announced the orchestra’s size or any guest artists for the 2027 dates.

Demand already has a track record. Publimetro said the production played Bogotá in August 2026, making April’s concert a return to Movistar Arena, which holds up to 14,000 spectators, according to Visit Bogotá. Infobae reported that the band’s Legacy Tour included a Carnegie Hall date in New York on 17 April 2025. Publimetro calls the Medellín performance the production’s first there. Tuboleta plans to start selling those tickets Thursday 22 October 2026, but no time or prices had been published, and the ticket page couldn't be opened for this report.

Getting There, and Staying Safe

Movistar Arena stands at Diagonal 61C No. 26-36 in Teusaquillo. Visit Bogotá recommends taking TransMilenio along Avenida NQS to the Movistar Arena station. The minimum age is 12. Children may sit only in alcohol-free sections 206, 214, 306 and 314, and each child needs a responsible adult alongside. Buyers travelling to Medellín should check that venue’s rules for minors rather than assume Bogotá’s conditions apply there.

U.S. visitors face a longer checklist. They need a valid passport; the State Department recommends six months’ validity and one blank page. Tourists and business visitors don’t need a visa for stays of 90 days or less, up to 180 days per calendar year, and Migración Colombia can extend a stay by 90 days. Travellers must complete the free Online Check-Mig form before flying. Colombia may deny entry to people without return tickets. Anyone carrying more than US$10,000 in cash must declare it and provide proof of origin.

The State Department’s advisory, dated 31 March 2026, rates Colombia Level 3, Reconsider Travel. It names Arauca, Norte de Santander and most of Cauca and Valle del Cauca as Level 4, Do Not Travel, areas. The advisory says demonstrations in Bogotá happen frequently and can turn violent; crimes against tourists are common, while street crime occurs throughout the country and can quickly turn violent. It also warns of terrorist violence with little or no warning, including possible attacks in tourist areas and transport hubs.

There’s a political wrinkle, too. In June 2026, President Gustavo Petro asked the Foreign Ministry to review entry conditions for U.S. citizens, El Cronista reported. The paper said no official measure had changed the rules.

Why This Matters:

One concert announcement shows how a private market handles demand: tiered pricing, an official sole seller, and prices that shift with supply. Buyers see clear numbers up front, while the seller carries reputational risk if the system fails. Much of the real cost, though, sits beyond the ticket. A visitor budgeting for a US$212 seat still has to weigh a Level 3 State Department advisory, crime warnings that name tourist areas, and a presidential request to review U.S. entry rules that hasn't changed them. For Colombia’s live-events and tourism businesses, predictable entry rules and public safety matter as much as the lineup. Foreign spending depends on both, and the 2027 dates are still months away.
