Argentine singer and rapper Milo J will perform at Parque Viva in La Guácima, Alajuela, on Sunday 22 November 2026, marking his first concert in Costa Rica. Promoter Jogo announced the date on Wednesday 12 August. The event is listed for 7 p.m. local time, but Parque Viva's event page gives a 4 p.m. start; neither listing says when gates open.
The concert forms part of the La vida era más corta world tour, which Acontecer says has visited Latin America, the United States and Europe. Teletica lists performances in Guatemala on 19 November and El Salvador on 20 November before the Costa Rica date. La Nación and CR Hoy reported that organizers had announced an earlier Costa Rica show, but it never happened. Fans replied “at last” beneath Jogo's announcement.
Tickets and prices
Tickets have been on sale through eticket.cr, the official seller, since August. Acontecer reported an American Express presale starting on 14 August and a BAC presale on 15 and 16 August. General sales were scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Monday 17 August.
On 17 October, the seller's event data listed ten zones, each available, with service charges included. Prices ran from ₡34,000, about US$75, for the standing lawn, Gramilla de Pie, to ₡70,000, about US$155, for Golden Circle. The two standing terraces cost ₡36,000 apiece, about US$79. Prices in 500-level sections ranged from ₡40,000 to ₡50,000, about US$88 to US$110. The 400-level side sections cost ₡45,000, about US$99, and the centre sections cost ₡55,000, about US$121.
Those amounts sat about 25 percent above the six launch prices Teletica reported on 20 August, which ranged from ₡28,673 to ₡56,175 before service charges. Acontecer said the launch prices included charges, so the reports disagree about whether fees were included. Teletica also reported six-month, interest-free Tasa Cero instalments, with monthly payments from ₡6,000 to ₡11,666. The price guide used an exchange rate of about 453 colones per U.S. dollar, based on the Central Bank of Costa Rica reference sell rate on 16 October. The promoter doesn't guarantee resale listings.
Venue and travel information
Parque Viva is a multi-venue entertainment site in La Guácima, in the canton of Alajuela, west of the capital and about 6 km from Juan Santamaría International Airport. The venue says it opened in 2015, has staged 1,147 events and hosted about 70 percent of concerts held in Costa Rica. Its directions put it 1.2 km north and 700 metres east of the La Guácima football pitch.
A La Nación access guide names the General Cañas highway and Route 27 as driving routes. It estimates about 40 minutes via Route 27 and about an hour via General Cañas in normal traffic. Parque Viva's event page links to online parking purchases. The venue says visitors have direct access to 5,200 hotel rooms, 1,000 shops and 300 nearby restaurants.
The U.S. State Department's Costa Rica page, checked on 17 October 2026, says U.S. citizens don't need a visa for stays under 180 days. Passports must remain valid for the full stay, and travellers need a return ticket or proof of onward travel. Entry for up to 180 days isn't guaranteed; the department also lists a US$10,000 cash limit when entering or leaving. Its Level 2 advisory, issued 2 April 2026, tells visitors to “exercise increased caution” because of crime and advises them to keep phones and wallets out of sight and valuables out of vehicles.
Tour details and event schedule
Milo J's full name is Camilo Joaquín Villarruel. The Latin Recording Academy says he earned his first Latin Grammy nomination in 2023 for Best Rap/Hip Hop Song. His 2023 session with producer Bizarrap, BZRP Music Sessions #57, reached No. 31 on the Billboard Global 200. He has released three studio albums: 111, 166 and La vida era más corta.
Parque Viva's calendar lists Los Fabulosos Cadillacs on Thursday 19 November, Barak on Friday 20 November and Omar Courtz on Saturday 21 November, the evening before Milo J's concert. Organizers haven't announced a support act, setlist, running time or stage layout. Costa Rica stays six hours behind UTC year-round; after U.S. clocks change on Sunday 1 November, a 7 p.m. start in Costa Rica will be 8 p.m. in New York and 5 p.m. in Los Angeles. The seller describes the event as suitable for all audiences and says children under 12 must attend with a responsible adult.
