Israeli Firm Pentera Expands AI Security Validation

Israeli cybersecurity firm Pentera announced a significant deal with Recorded Future, one of the world’s largest threat intelligence companies, just three days ago. This partnership aims to integrate their respective technologies, with a public demonstration scheduled for August 6 in Las Vegas at the Black Hat 2026 conference. The agreement allows Pentera to leverage Recorded Future’s extensive platform, enabling its artificial intelligence system to validate threats in real time.

The collaboration is designed to offer a “single autonomous operational flow in alignment,” merging Recorded Future’s capacity for threat detection with Pentera’s validation system. This integration represents a strategic move for the Israeli firm, positioning it at the forefront of automated security validation. The upcoming demonstration, titled “Threat Intel Just Got Teeth: TLPT Goes Live,” will highlight the practical applications of this advanced system. It's set to take place in less than two weeks, drawing attention from across the cybersecurity industry.

Cybersecurity Expansion

Amitai Ratzon, CEO of Pentera, emphasized the market need addressed by this new alliance. “This partnership connects threat intelligence and security validation in a way the market has been missing,” Ratzon stated. He further elaborated on the benefits for existing clients, noting that “Recorded Future customers already understand which threats are relevant to them.” Pentera’s role, according to Ratzon, is to transform this intelligence into “proactive security validation testing.” This includes a rapid cycle of surgical remediation steps, ultimately leading to a measurable reduction in risk for organizations. The focus remains on validating defenses against real adversary behavior, moving beyond abstract vulnerability lists.

The integration of these two systems is also intended to ensure current cybersecurity frameworks align with evolving global regulations. Specifically, the companies mentioned the EU’s Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and TIBER-EU as key frameworks. These regulations increasingly stress the importance of validating defenses against actual threat actors, rather than relying solely on theoretical vulnerabilities. The partnership underscores a broader industry shift towards more dynamic and responsive security measures.

Global Regulatory Alignment

Jamie Zajac, Chief Product Officer at Recorded Future, underscored the transformative potential of the integration. “This integration with Pentera unlocks the next level,” Zajac commented. She highlighted how automated validation plays a crucial role in determining whether identified threats are genuinely exploitable within a specific operational environment. “That’s the future of operationalized intelligence,” Zajac asserted, pointing to the forward-looking nature of the collaboration.

The companies plan to demonstrate precisely how the combination of live threat intelligence and automated validation can empower organizations. Their goal is to help these entities continuously test their defenses against the most recent attacker activity. This continuous testing model aims to provide a robust and adaptive security posture, reflecting the dynamic nature of global cyber threats. The deal, announced just three days ago, marks a significant step for Pentera in expanding its technological capabilities and market presence.
