US Strikes Degrade Iran's Terror Infrastructure

US Central Command announced Thursday night the completion of the sixth consecutive night of American strikes against Iran. US forces launched precision munitions, hitting dozens of Iranian military targets across the country. This sustained action aims to degrade the capabilities of the region's foremost state sponsor of terror.

CENTCOM confirmed that fighter jets, aerial drones, and warships were deployed in the operation. Targets included critical coastal surveillance and air defense sites. Military logistics infrastructure and maritime capabilities were also struck. The command stated its objective was to further degrade Iranian military capabilities. It also emphasized holding Iran accountable for recent attacks on commercial shipping. More than 50,000 US service members stationed in the Middle East remain "vigilant, lethal, and ready." This robust presence underscores the ongoing commitment to counter Iranian aggression.

Targeting the Terror State's Infrastructure

Iranian state media reported significant damage following the strikes. Five bridges in southern Iran were hit in the latest wave of US attacks. Iran's state news agency Mehr reported three explosions heard in Chabahar, in southeastern Iran, early Friday morning. Iran's semi-official Tasnim News Agency detailed an American attack on the Iranshahr airport earlier on Thursday. Three strong explosions were heard around the airport, where Iranian armed forces are stationed.

Tasnim further reported that the Kehvarstan bridge, which crosses the Shur River in southern Iran, was struck. This bridge is a key transportation route. Traffic on the Bandar Abbas-Kehvarstan-Lar route has been suspended as a direct result of the damage. IRNA reported seven people were killed in US attacks on bridges in Bandar Khamir. This information came from the Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences. The report also confirmed US airstrikes hit bridges in Hormozgan province overnight into Friday. These strikes included targets in the Bandar Khamir area, strategically located on the Strait of Hormuz. Tasnim denied explosions in the Iranian city of Zahedan, citing on-site investigations in "key locations in the city" that showed reports of attacks were untrue. The destruction of these bridges impacts Iran's ability to move military assets.

Western Resolve Against Iranian Aggression

These reports describe an expanding US airstrike campaign in Iran. The campaign included both military targets and vital infrastructure like bridges in southern Iran. The precision strikes directly counter Iran's ongoing efforts to destabilize the region. Washington's actions underscore a necessary resolve against a regime that fuels regional instability and threatens international commerce. This sustained pressure is crucial for regional security. It sends a clear message to the Iranian regime regarding its sponsorship of terror and its broader hegemonic ambitions. The United States is actively working to diminish Iran's capacity for aggression.
