Curitiba October Events Leave Most Prices Unlisted

Curitiba’s October guide lists no ticket price for most events, while tickets for the Oct. 31 concert headlined by Solomun and Vintage Culture are available through Ingresse. The city’s official events agenda and tourism office listing cover activities from Friday, Oct. 16, through the end of the month, including talks, dance nights, rock and hip-hop events, and concerts.

What the listings disclose

On Friday, Oct. 16, GET WOMEN CONF26 – FLORIR, a women-focused conference, is scheduled for 16:00 at Get Church Curitiba. Bora Dançar Primavera starts at 20:00 at Sociedade Morgenau, followed at 21:00 by Braza em Curitiba: Baile Cítrico Utópico Lunar at Basement Cultural. The agenda lists no prices for any of the three.

Saturday’s schedule has one event explicitly marked free: the Portuguese-language public lecture “Bioenergias e Desempenho da Consciência,” at 14:30 at IIPC (Instituto Internacional de Projeciologia e Conscienciologia). IIPC also lists “EnergoLab+ – Laboratórios de Técnicas Energéticas Positivas” for 17:00, but provides no price. Newstar appears at 19:00 at Rua Mateus Leme, 1719, without a description or price.

The Brasil Hip Hop Festival starts at 20:00 at Barão Hall. The guide gives no price and tells readers to check the venue’s channels for the line-up. At the same time, Detroit Club hosts Velora – Show de Lançamento Oficial (Anos 80 & 90), a launch show featuring music from the 1980s and 1990s. Neither listing shows a ticket price.

Events through the end of the month

On Sunday, Oct. 18, “Onde a Fé Inspira, o Axé Fortalece e a União Transforma Vidas,” described as a faith and community gathering, is listed for the afternoon at Concept Hall. MotorBlack Rock Festival begins at 15:00 at Clay Highway Bar. Neither event has a listed price.

RotaryOKÊ takes place Thursday, Oct. 22, at 19:00 at Clay Highway Bar; the agenda gives no price or description. On Saturday, Oct. 24, IIPC’s second free public lecture, “Maturidade Integral e Uso do Tempo,” begins at 14:30. Festa Halloween a Fantasia do Clay starts at 20:00 at Clay Highway Bar, with no price shown.

Solomun and Vintage Culture headline the Oct. 31 event at Pedreira Paulo Leminski, Rua João Gava, 970. It starts at 14:00 and runs into the night. Ingresse sells the tickets. The guide describes the open-air quarry event as stretching from daylight through sunset into darkness, and advises arranging a journey home before the concert ends. That day, IIPC lists Energo Experience – Homeostase Energética at 14:30, without a price. Hell(oween) of Fame at Changes and The Eurodance Tour Internacional at Clay Highway Bar both begin at 20:00; neither listing includes a price.

Practical details and other figures

The guide describes October as spring in Curitiba, when weather changes quickly, and recommends bringing a light waterproof layer and a jumper. Late-night returns are easier by ride-hailing app or taxi than by bus, it says, and visitors should plan transport from Pedreira Paulo Leminski, outside the city centre, before the concert ends. Organizers can confirm prices and start times, since most listings don't provide prices. Most events are in Portuguese, though a few words of the language can help at the door. Weekly updates appear on Agenda Curitiba and official Turismo Curitiba pages.

The article also displayed Brazil presidential runoff prediction-market figures timestamped Oct. 16, 2026, at 01:20 ET (01:20 Lisbon). Polymarket put Flávio Bolsonaro at 79.1% and Lula at 20.5%, with US$184 million traded. Kalshi, described as regulated in the U.S. by the CFTC, showed Flávio Bolsonaro at 79% and Lula at 22%. These figures are bets, not polls, the guide says, and they can move quickly.
