Gorillaz will play one show at Santiago's Estadio Bicentenario de La Florida on Friday 4 December 2026. Tickets start at 66,700 Chilean pesos, about US$68, while the PIT costs 287,500 pesos, about US$292. That’s more than four times the entry price for a night of music, before fans pay for a bus fare or a bottle of water.
The British virtual band, founded by Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett, is bringing its ninth studio album, The Mountain, to the Chilean capital on The Mountain Tour. Promoter DG Medios lists just one date, and no second night has been announced. One show means one chance, with a lot of fans competing for a limited pool of seats.
What It Costs To Get In
Published general-sale prices include service charges and climb through a long ladder of seating tiers. Cancha General and Movilidad Reducida start at 66,700 pesos. Tribuna Central costs 86,250 pesos (about US$88). Platea Zafiro Vista Parcial is 97,750 pesos (about US$99), Platea Baja 109,250 pesos (about US$111), and Pacífico Vista Parcial 120,750 pesos (about US$123).
Further up the scale, Cancha Frontal costs 155,250 pesos (about US$158), Platea Royal 161,000 pesos (about US$164), and Pacífico Sur 172,500 pesos (about US$175). Platea Zafiro is 184,000 pesos (about US$187), Pacífico Centro 212,750 pesos (about US$216), and the PIT tops the list. DG Medios sets the service charge at 15 percent of the full face value, on top of the ticket price. Those were the March launch prices; current availability hasn't been confirmed.
That 15 percent fee deserves a second look. Entel and Santander presales offered a 20 percent discount on ticket value, but not on the service charge, so buyers still paid the full add-on. Every person aged two or older needs a ticket. A family outing can multiply the bill quickly. Buyers could purchase up to four tickets, and each ticket carries a name and is tied to buyer details.
Rules Of The Sale
Ticketmaster Chile is the only official online seller. General sale opened at noon on Friday 6 March 2026, after presales for Entel customers and Santander cardholders ran from noon Wednesday 4 March to noon Friday 6 March. Each presale capped purchases at four tickets. Ticketmaster says it isn't responsible for tickets bought outside its system, a warning that hits hardest when official seats vanish and fans turn to resellers.
The named-ticket rule offers buyers some protection against scalping. But ordinary fans still have to read the fine print, and the seller's disclaimer leaves anyone who buys elsewhere on their own.
What Fans Are Paying For
Ticketmaster says Damon Albarn will perform with the live band and special guests, but the company hasn't named them. No support act, setlist, doors time, start time or curfew has been published. Cooperativa said the tour opens in the United Kingdom and Europe before reaching the Americas. It also reported that the band played all of The Mountain from start to finish at two Los Angeles shows. Cooperativa named Feel Good Inc., Clint Eastwood and On Melancholy Hill as catalogue highlights, though no Santiago setlist has been released.
The Mountain has 15 songs. Cooperativa listed Sparks, Trueno, Bizarrap, Omar Souleyman, Anoushka Shankar and Tony Allen among its guests. Trueno and Bizarrap are Argentine artists. No one has said whether any album guest will appear in Santiago. The seller describes this run as the band's first extended visit to South America since 2023. Cooperativa noted that Guinness World Records recognises Gorillaz as the world's most successful virtual band.
Getting There, Staying Safe
Estadio Bicentenario de La Florida is football club Audax Italiano's home ground. Emol says it opened in 1986, underwent a rebuild in 2008 and holds 11,376 spectators for sport. Viajando Chile puts its music-event capacity at more than 28,000. Emol names Rojas Magallanes and Trinidad stations on Metro Line 4 as the nearest stops. Viajando Chile suggests riding Line 4 to Rojas Magallanes, then walking about 22 minutes or taking a bus. No parking information, seat map or stage layout was available.
The U.S. State Department rates Chile Level 2, exercise increased caution, citing crime, unrest and health. It says pickpocketing and muggings happen most often in tourist locations, including Plaza de Armas, Mercado Central and Cerro Santa Lucía in Santiago. Large demonstrations can disrupt buses and the Santiago Metro with little or no notice, the department says. U.S. citizens with tourist passports need no visa for stays of 90 days or less.
Why This Matters: A single-night show with a music capacity of more than 28,000, tiered prices starting at 66,700 pesos and climbing past 287,000, and a 15 percent fee on top of face value shows how access to live culture gets sorted by wallet size. Discounted presales went to customers of one telecom and one bank, so the best deals reached people already in those commercial relationships. Four-ticket caps and named tickets limit hoarding, but they don't change the math for families who need a ticket for every member aged two or older. Metro Line 4 matters, too: it's the affordable route for fans who can't absorb parking or ride-hailing costs. Buyers spending this much are owed clear information about timing, guests and logistics, details still unpublished weeks before the show.
