Asunción Events Put Access Behind Tickets and Fees

The World Skate Games’ final weekend in Asunción runs Oct. 16-18. Entry to the SND and COP parks is free, but arena shows inside them require paid tickets. That split shapes a packed October program: public spaces host events, while access to arena shows and concerts often runs through ticket sellers, service charges and venue rules.

Who Gets In, and on What Terms

The World Skate Games ASU2026 run from Oct. 2 to 18, crowning world champions in 12 disciplines across skateboarding, roller sports and other World Skate sports. Visitors can enter the parks free, but arena events inside them require tickets sold through TUTI at tuti.com.py. The guide doesn’t list arena ticket prices, so would-be attendees must check the seller’s listings to find the cost of entry.

On Friday, Oct. 16, Los Nocheros perform “40 años El Show” at 21:00 at the Gran Teatro del Banco Central del Paraguay. Ticketea sells tickets at ticketea.com.py. Hellbutcher, Masacre and Nervochaos also share a bill at Voudevil that night, with tickets available through Ticketea.

Saturday brings Paraguayan rock band Flou to Sala García Lorca at Manzana de la Rivera at 19:30. TUTI sells tickets for “Tácito 20 años.” The Missing Peace plays its “Buscando la Paz Tour” at Absoluto Rock Bar at 20:00, also through TUTI, while Mauri Bauzá presents “Íntimamente” at Teatro Latino at 20:00, with tickets through Ticketea.

Venues set the rooms and times, while ticket platforms manage sales. The guide doesn’t describe community-run events, mutual aid or self-organized responses to ticket prices. It sticks to the official calendar and the routes for buying admission.

The Price of the Big Shows

Camilo brings the “Camilo Worldwide Tour 2026” to SND Arena at Puerto de Asunción on Friday, Oct. 23. General-sale tickets cost ₲247,500, about US$43, plus a service charge. A pre-sale for ueno bank customers cost ₲210,375, about US$37, and general sales opened June 10. The guide advises checking the final total before paying, since the listed price isn’t necessarily what customers pay at checkout.

Festival Tatakua 2026 is listed for that same Friday at Centro de Convenciones del Mariscal. The guide calls it the main gathering of Paraguay’s creative and advertising industry, bringing agencies, production companies, advertisers and independent professionals together.

On Oct. 31, Marco Antonio Solís closes the month at Jockey Club Paraguayo with the “Gratitud Tour.” Tickets start at ₲200,000, about US$35, through Ticketea, and service charges apply. The guide recommends arranging transport ahead of time because the venue sits outside the old town. It also advises using ride-hailing rather than waiting for a bus after late-night shows.

A Calendar, Not a Community Safety Net

Teatro Municipal Ignacio A. Pane lists “Visita Actuada Dentro del Municipal” on Sunday, Oct. 18, and Noche Vallenata on Saturday, Oct. 24. Neither listing gives a time or price, so the guide tells attendees to check with the theatre. Its practical advice includes checking the forecast for outdoor events, moving between Centro Histórico venues in groups after dark, and booking early for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 16 and 17, which it identifies as the busiest nights.

Ticket sales run through separate platforms: Ticketea handles Los Nocheros, Hellbutcher, Mauri Bauzá, Camilo and Marco Antonio Solís; TUTI handles Flou, The Missing Peace and World Skate Games arena tickets. The guide says Guaraní prices use an approximate rate of ₲5,700 per U.S. dollar, the Rio Times market rate on Oct. 15, 2026. It draws on organizer, venue and local cultural-agenda listings, including abc.com.py, cultura.asuncion.gov.py, worldskate.org, hoy.com.py and lanacion.com.py. The source information dates to Oct. 15, 2026, and The Rio Times’ automated newsroom system produced the article, listing Matthias Camenzind as Editor-in-Chief.
