Asunción Events Put Free Skate Games Beside Paid Gigs

The World Skate Games offer free entry to two Asunción parks through Oct. 18, but arena events inside them require tickets. Concert prices this month reach ₲247,500 before service charges. The Rio Times guide covers cultural events from Oct. 16 through the end of October, with options ranging from free park admission to paid concerts and theatre listings that don't publish prices.

Free Parks, Ticketed Arenas

The World Skate Games ASU2026 run from Oct. 2 to 18 at the SND and COP parks. The final weekend falls on Oct. 16-18, when competitors crown world champions in 12 disciplines across skateboarding, roller sports and other World Skate sports. Visitors can enter both parks for free. Arenas inside them require tickets, which TUTI sells at tuti.com.py.

On Friday, Oct. 16, Argentine folk group Los Nocheros performs “40 años El Show” at 21:00 at the Gran Teatro del Banco Central del Paraguay. Ticketea sells tickets at ticketea.com.py. That night, metal bands Hellbutcher, Masacre and Nervochaos share a bill at Voudevil, with tickets also available through Ticketea.

On Saturday, Oct. 17, Paraguayan rock band Flou performs at 19:30 in Sala García Lorca at Manzana de la Rivera, Centro Histórico. “Tácito 20 años” marks 20 years since the band released its album Tácito, and TUTI sells tickets. The Missing Peace brings its “Buscando la Paz Tour” to Absoluto Rock Bar at 20:00, with tickets through TUTI. Mauri Bauzá presents “Íntimamente” at Teatro Latino at 20:00; Ticketea sells tickets.

Published Prices and Added Charges

Colombian pop star Camilo brings the “Camilo Worldwide Tour 2026” to SND Arena at Puerto de Asunción on Friday, Oct. 23. General-sale tickets cost ₲247,500, about US$43, plus a service charge. Ueno bank customers paid ₲210,375, about US$37, during pre-sale, and general sales opened June 10. Check the final total before paying; service charges can raise it.

Festival Tatakua 2026 is also listed for Oct. 23 at Centro de Convenciones del Mariscal. The guide calls it the main gathering of Paraguay’s creative and advertising industry, bringing agencies, production companies, advertisers and independent professionals together.

On Saturday, Oct. 24, Teatro Municipal Ignacio A. Pane lists Noche Vallenata, featuring music described as accordion-led folk music from Colombia. The listing gives no time or price, so attendees should check with the theatre. The same theatre lists “Visita Actuada Dentro del Municipal,” an acted visit inside the building, on Sunday, Oct. 18. That listing also gives no time or price.

Mexican singer-songwriter Marco Antonio Solís closes the month on Saturday, Oct. 31, with the “Gratitud Tour” at Jockey Club Paraguayo. Tickets start at ₲200,000, about US$35, and Ticketea sells them. The venue sits outside the old town, and the guide advises arranging transport in advance.

Venues, Fees and Practical Details

Ticketea sells tickets for Los Nocheros, Hellbutcher, Mauri Bauzá, Camilo and Marco Antonio Solís. TUTI sells tickets for Flou, The Missing Peace and the World Skate Games arenas. Camilo and Marco Antonio Solís list service charges on top of ticket prices. The guide converts Guaraní prices at about ₲5,700 per U.S. dollar, the Rio Times market rate on Oct. 15, 2026.

The guide identifies Friday and Saturday, Oct. 16 and 17, as the busiest nights and advises booking early. October is late spring in Asunción, with mild evenings and potentially hot afternoons, so check the local forecast for outdoor events at the SND parks and Jockey Club. For late-night shows, the guide recommends ride-hailing rather than waiting for a bus. Centro Histórico is easy to walk by day, but it's quieter after dark.

The guide draws on organizer, venue and local cultural-agenda listings. Its sources include abc.com.py, cultura.asuncion.gov.py, worldskate.org, hoy.com.py and lanacion.com.py. It says staff retrieved the information Oct. 15, 2026. The Rio Times’ automated newsroom system produced the article, which lists Matthias Camenzind as Editor-in-Chief.
